House and Senate leaders claim that the
deal reached today will reduce taxes on 95 percent of Americans. Yeah, right. It's a Democrat bill without a doubt, the majority of which is spending, and the Democrats own this bill fully. To say that this bill will stimulate the economy is absurd, and I believe the majority of Americans - if they have not already - will soon come to this conclusion, and the president and the Democrats will pay the political price for wasting a historic opportunity to create a bipartisan, truly authentic and effective stimulus bill. Instead, they created a partisan monster of a pork bill.
